The feet-paws were definitely the best part to work on. And the actual size of this pic is about twice as big as the fullview you see here, so feel free to download it if you ... er ... want to have a better look at my messy brushstrokes. XD;; Bleach, Grimmjow Jaegerjaques, that funky-looking number 6, and other assorted cool things all belong to Kubo Tite. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Dude, awesome image- and i love how you really worked with the general circular motion for the image. The hair really helps mirror the BG movement, and it helps the eye travel around the image.

Thanks so much for such kind feedback! My primary aim was to avoid any straight lines in the drawing; the first thing I noticed about Pantera Grimmjow (other than the feet-paws, of course XD) was how smoothly sinuous his movements are. However, since this drawing is more static, I wanted to convey that fluidity in some other way, and the circular effect sort of arose from that on its own.
And for the record, just about every one of your mini-comics, for Bleach and others, had me practically in hysterics. LOLlerskating into walls and the like. XD Rock on.

It's hard not to make a comic and not have Mr. Feeties in there. Becuase he is the velvetie plush goodness.
Yah, the design of him as pantera really tapped into that feline fluidity... so it's quite the fun time to draw him and use those to our benefits!
